This is a UV reproduction made from our original artwork all designed by our artist, Ann Drez. It is made of PVC making it waterproof and durable. We do recommend to place door hangers under an awning or front porch to avoid any wind from blowing them off the hanger/hook and getting dented/cracked if fallen/dropped. Also please do not place them between exterior doors like a storm door. Any excessive heat will cause the PVC to warp. Because they are UV prints they should last for quite a while, but also if yard stakes are left out year round with direct sunlight, they may have a tendency to fade do to the pigments used in the inks. Lightfastness varies in different pigments and so some prints might not fade at all where others may after a year or two., so we can only guarantee a shelf life of 12 months from the purchase date to replace a faded piece. If you are wanting to extend the life of the piece, spraying a clear coating would definitely help.
